It shows us how Jesus exercised faith and lived by the Spirit for the provision of the spiritual and material things He needed. The Spirit quickened Jesus' faith and that of His disciples and five loaves of bread and two fishes were multiplied to feed thousands of people. The Bible says the just shall live by faith. It is wrong to think we must always live by our own works and human effort. The exercising of our faith can supply our needs.
