The title of this book, Settlement Warrant, centres on the content and authority of our prayer effort to fulfil our purpose. Prayer is the believers’ warrant or pass with which we enter the enemy’s territory and settle by possessing our possessions.
Our prayer is the warrant that determines what happens when we settle in the land in the season of settlement. The strategy we must adopt for prayer is the spirit of agreement. We should not be individualistic or independent of one another in prayer in this season.
The Prayer of Agreement Sanctions Settlement (PASS). Jesus Christ charged His disciples that if they bound anything on earth, it would be bound in Heaven, and if they loosed anything on earth it would be loosed in Heaven. Jabez used prayer as the warrant to change the situation in which he was born. He refused to accept his deplorable condition and God heard his demand for amendment
